Learn the basics of Bomba dancing with Cultura Plenera dance instructors and live Bomba drummers. Tap into one of the oldest dance and music practices of the Caribbean – Afro-Puerto Rican Bomba. Bomba is a 500-year old tradition of self-expression, community gathering, and emotional and spiritual release.

Please wear comfortable, loose clothing and comfortable shoes. If you don’t have a traditional skirt, we will have one for you to borrow. This workshop is known to sell out, so register early.
